Anna Pflieger
Mezzo Soprano

Anna is one of those superior voices that thrives upon challenges and the most difficult roles. Possessing a full sized instrument, she displays masterful control, along with a rich and vibrant color to her singing, as she navigates her repertoire with ease. Anna brings a warmth and special presence to each role, bringing the audience into the performance as if they were part of the cast on stage.

With the restart to her career, Anna is an especially intuitive performer that perfectly pairs her artistry not only with a powerful personal backstory, but with a voice that transcends reality and transports her audience to the core of grand opera.

Ms. Pflieger sings with exceptional technical ability and passion with a voice equally beautiful, as it is powerful. As a Dramatic Mezzo-Soprano, her voice embodies rich color whilst balancing romantic nuances with lyrical flexibility; her interpretations are undeniably bold, moving and simply unforgettable. Her combined tone and range generously lends itself to dramatic and romantic works alike.

Anna resides in Los Angeles and currently studies under the direction of Shigemi Matsumoto. She has additionally trained under world acclaimed opera professionals including Claudine Carlson, Elizabeth Howard, Vladimir Chernov, Kathleen Roland, Carol Neblett and Timothy Leon. Anna is a welcome addition to our Emerging Artist Roster.
